This month the main topics were Volcanoes, Dinosaurs, and being a Paleontologist.
Quinn learned that Volcanoes have three states; active, inactive, and extinct. We also learned that the world's largest volcano is in Hawaii, but we couldn't figure out how to pronounce the name of it.
Quinn made a volcano from home made playdoh and made an eruption.
We also used finger paint to paint pictures of valcanoes in different states, ex. active.
And we made our own volcano board game, with active, inactive, and extinct cards. Draw an active volcano and move two square, inactive 1 square, and extince zero squares. Quinn's really good at this game.
Quinn also learned about Dinosaurs. We learned about how big some were, and the three categories of dinosaurs and all animals: herbivore, omnivore and carnivore. Quinn learned that he's an animal and that he's an omnivore.
